Feeling ill? 5 easy steps to look healthier and presentable using make-up!

Did your own reflection in the mirror scare you this morning? Don't worry! This will be an easy guide to help you look healthier and presentable in a short amount of time, using make-up.

1) The under eye area problem...
Huge, dark bags under your eyes from your lack of sleep last night? Concealer is your best friend right now! But try a color corrector before you put on your concealer. A salmon-colored corrector will neutralize the blue and purple colors under your eyes. After that, use some concealer that's a shade lighter than your skintone to conceal and highlight. Set it with a fine setting powder and you'll instantly look healthier!

2) Tired, puffy eyes...
For this problem, you want to focus on creating the illusion of opening up your eyes. The first step in doing is, is curling your lashes. This makes a huge difference! Next up a thin line with some liquid liner. The fun thing about liquid eyeliner is that you can change the way your eyes look. In this case, you want to make your eyes look more open and round, so just draw a thin line across the lash line. Don't make it too thick, because it will make your eye make-up look too dark. Apply two coats of your favorite mascara to curl and lengthen your lashes. Also apply a little bit to the lower lashes to create the illusion of bigger eyes. It already looks a lot better, right?

3) Red eyes...
So now your eyes look open and awake, but what about the redness? Use a nude-colored eyeliner in your waterline. Again, this will create the illusion of bigger eyes, but it also makes your eyes look whiter and less red. Don't use a white eyeliner though, because it can sometimes look too 'fake' on the waterline. A nude-colored eyeliner looks way more natural!

4) Pale, dull skin...
If you're feeling a bit under the weather, sometimes your skin can look a bit pale and dull. To make your skin look less pale, use a bronzer on the places the sun would naturally hit you. So underneath your cheekbones, the temples, right underneath the hairline and a little bit on the bridge of your nose. To bring back some color, use a blush that complements your skintone and apply a bit on the apples of your cheeks. Still looking a bit dull? Use some highlighter on the high points of your face to give you that healthy glow back!

5) Chapped lips...
The last step is to moisturize your lips. Use your favorite hydrating lip balm or lip butter to moisturize your lips. You can also use some tinted lip balm on top that's a shade darker than your natural lip color, to make you look a bit more lively and put together!
